I graduated from Saharco in 1978.I had worked with my father for two years before moving to USA for further Studies in 1980.

I had graduated in 1984 with a degree in Marketing from University of New Orleans.I am the President/ Owner of Osita Enterprises,LLC
We operate multiple Subway Restaurants in New Orleans area.I have been in Business for 25 years.

I believe in Quality Education because it makes you a reasoning productive citizen.

 

Emeka Onuoha

Vice President

Emeka Onuoha graduated from Saharco in 1978. He worked with the Nigerian Petroleum Corporation from 1980 to 1982 before he moved to the United States. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from Northern Kentucky University.
Emeka worked for Cable News Network (CNN) for six years as broadcast journalist before becoming an independent media technology consultant, and contractor for various corporations such as Coca Cola, City of Atlanta, Marriott hotels, Hyatt hotels, and more.
He is also a certified trainer in broadcast and presentation technology.
Emeka Onuoha is a strong believer in creating superior quality education in his alma mater, Saharco, by establishing modern technology to aid in student learning.

Charles Okorie, MD

Treasurer

Dr. Charles Okorie is the Treasurer of the Saharco Foundation as well as the Treasurer of Saharco Old Boys Association, (SOBA) USA. Over the past 25 years in America, he has served in leadership positions in the academic world and also founded two US based corporations – the experience garnered from these activities have been invaluable in managing the finances of the Foundation and SOBA USA.

Dr. Charles Okorie is on the faculty of the world- renowned George Washington University School of Medicine, in Washington DC, USA, as a Clinical Instructor of Medicine. Dr. Okorie has been a certified diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine since September 1992.

Chuma Mbadugha was of the 1982 set of Sacred Heart College, Aba. A graduate of the Nigerian Law school and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from The George Washington University.
Served variously as Financial Secretary and Welfare Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Aba. Financial Secretary, Secretary and Welfare Director of Fullgospel Businessmen’s Fellowship International Aba. Two term Financial Secretary Nigerian Lawyers Association-DMV.
Worked as Legal/Community Affairs Manager with United Geophysical Ltd – an oil exploration company in Nigeria and with Montgomery County Government, Maryland.
Chuma Mbadugha is licensed in New York, Maryland and Washington DC and is practicing Law in Maryland.

Idika Ume Agwu

Idika Ume Agwu spent five solid years as a boarding student at Sacred Heart College, Eziukwu, Aba and proceeded to University of Lagos where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Education in 1989. Idika taught Chemistry at Obiaza Girls secondary school in Bendel state during his NYSC and at Mercy Girls secondary school in Aba briefly before jumping into business. In 1998, Idika proceeded to the USA and became a science teacher at both Parkdale and Suitland high schools both in the state of Maryland. During this time he enrolled for two Masters degree programs and received an M.Ed in Curriculum & Instruction with Concentration in Earth Science from Loyola Maryland University in the Fall of 2001 another M.Ed in “Reading” from Bowie State University, Maryland in the Spring of 2002. In the Summer of 2005, Idika also received a Post Master’s Certificate in Administration and Supervision from Coppin State University in Baltimore Maryland. Presently, Idika is a Reading Specialist and Testing Coordinator in Prince George’s County Public Schools and an adjourn professor in Washington Trinity University in Washington, DC. Maneuvering his ways quickly and rising to the top in the field of education in the the United States were as a result of experiences and survival strategies gained from Sacred Heart College (Saharco) in Aba.

I attended Central School Amaigbo from 1969-1973.

Sacred Heart College from 1973/74-1978.

Worked at Imo State Government from 1979-1981.Left for Morgan State University in 1982, for Business Administration/Economics.

Graduated on Business four years later at University of Phoenix Long Distance Studies.Married with Seven children.  Six men and a girl.One business man,threeEngeeners, one college basketball player.

A professional salesman/designer with Ashley Furniture Home and presently the owner of Kingsden Home Health care and Allied Services.

Pastor, Cyprain Ike Ifedi

Cyprian Ike Ifedi graduated from Sacred Heart College, Aba (SAHARCO) in 1978. Upon graduation worked for Ministry of Transportation, Marina, Warri, Bendel State. Then moved to United States of America in January 1983 as a student, studied Finance, graduated with BBA in 1986 from North Carolina Central University, Durham, North Carolina. Joined United States Army in 1987 as PFC Officer; then worked for Bank of America, North America, Charlotte, NC as Trade Operations Officer from June 1989 and retired in June 2015. In 2018, after completed my pastoral studies, I became an assistant Pastor with The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Victory Temple, Charlotte, NC and also current Senior Pastor of House of Hope Ministry, Inc fellowship in Charlotte, NC. Currently I’m Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Victorious Health Services, LLC dba A Victorious Home Care, Charlotte, NC.

 It’s indeed a great pleasure to serve in current executive position of our Alma Mater, SAHARCO as a financial Secretary.
