Project

Completed Project

The Saharco Old boys association recently celebrated the completion of a long-awaited state-of-the-art library at Saharco.  The event attracted various personalities of the society, including the Archbishop, regional Catholic clergy, alumni, current students, parents, media agencies and others.   We are continuing to embark on other projects. The completion of the library represents a great accomplishment for our organization as we continue to develop the school to achieve its potential.

In an attempt to promote academic excellence among the students as well as incentivizing the teachers, some members of our organization have set up awards aimed at rewarding outstanding performance from both the students and the teachers. Two of the awards, Dr Maduka Awa Prize for outstanding performance in Physics and Benjamin Anyanwu MEMORIAL AWARD for outstanding performance in Mathematics, are in honor of two past influential teachers who went above and beyond in teaching the students at the school. There are also other awards such as: Chief William Okorie prize and Teresa Okorie memorial prize set up by some of our members to honor their parents.
